Surtr, Bearer of the Flaming Sword, I approach you with reverence and respect, I ask for the fire that that renews and purifies, the devouring flame that consumes what is no longer needed, and I come to you in need of rejuvenation.
I find remedy in your flaming embrace for you cleanse the soiled fields of my mind, burning away the hurt of the past and leaving a rejuvenated and fertile spirit in its ashes.
God of the Burning Embers, give me the unrelenting force of fire to face my demons, and the strength to look inside and challenge my darkness. May your purifying fire consume the dead wood within and free me to concentrate on the fresh.
May your fires consume the undesired, the unwanted, the toxic and the dead, as I endure the trials of self discovery, and may I rise above your raging inferno, like a regenerated, purified phoenix emerging from the ashes.
Light Bringer of the underworld, hear my calls for rebirth, and bless me with your cleansing flame so that I can once more move again with clarity and intention, clear of the undergrowth that haunts me.
